I don’t usually set official release dates because I don’t really do launches. I just put the books up and hope whoever’s interested runs across them. :)

But a few people have said they’ll be watching for Matthew’s Chance on the 23rd, so I thought I should put up clarification on the release date. Matthew’s Chance will be available at some stores on the 23rd—those stores that put books live immediately like AllRomanceEbooks.com—probably by late afternoon my time.

Matthew’s Chance should be widely available by the 25th, and that includes places that take longer to make books live like Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.

Honestly, I don’t expect much of a delay, but… my last book took quite a bit longer to go live at Amazon.com than I expected, so I thought I should make a note of this for anyone who might be waiting for the book. :)

Next time, I’ll take all this into consideration before I post a release date, I promise. :D

And have I said I love this book? ;) I love this book so much! Matthew is awesome… and now I have another favorite character.

I should just stop claiming favorites, because I love them all too much to choose. But I will say, the next fella… he’s awesome too in his own way. ;)

And that leads into the news that the next Wolves’ Heat book might actually be coming out by the end of the year! I’m very hopeful that I won’t have to make you wait as long between books this time. :)

Matthew’s Chance should be available on 9/23. If you’ve read my previous blog post about the release date, you’ll notice that’s a tiny adjustment to the original release date. I wanted to update so that if you’re watching for the book, you’ll know when to watch!

Yay! I finally have a release date for the upcoming New Canton Republic book and Matthew’s Chance.

I don’t like to commit until I can count on everything to be ready, so putting this in writing is making me really excited!

The New Canton Republic book should be available by 8/26 8/28 (sorry! I had to fix that), while Matthew’s Chance should be available by 9/18 9/23.

Yeah, I know it’s strange, but I still have to come up with a title for the New Canton book. Getting a little close to the wire here. :D

I already have ideas for the next books, so I’m really hoping you like these books so I can write those! Then again, I’ll probably write them anyway because I like the worlds so much. I can’t really control the stories I feel compelled to tell. ;)

By the end of next week I should have release dates for the upcoming New Canton Republic and Wolves’ Heat books, and it looks to be August and September just as I’d hoped.

I’m so excited about these books! I’ve loved revisiting the New Canton Republic. I enjoy that world almost too much for words and I have a lot of fun letting my sense of humor run free. I can already say this is not going to be the last book in that world if I can help it. I still have to come up with a title, though, and that’s kind of odd for me since I often have titles before I write the first word of a particular story.

Matthew’s Chance has been so much fun to write for entirely different reasons. With the Wolves’ Heat books, the story takes me where it will, and Matthew probably doesn’t like me much right about now after what I’ve been putting him through. ;)

I’ve delayed the new Hend and Yurt book, The King’s Gambit, but it’s still in the works for a release later this year.

I had a few more delays with Brendan’s Fate than I hoped for, but the book is finally just about ready. Brendan’s book is the 3rd in the Wolves’ Heat series. Unfortunately, because of the holidays I can’t say exactly when Brendan’s Fate will be available, but the goal is to have it available by the end of December or the first week of January. Where that falls within the time frame of December 21st – January 6th, I can’t say, but I’m going to do everything I can to be sure it’s at least at Amazon within that time period.

As soon as I have a better idea of the release date, I’ll be sure to post a notice here on the website.

Thank you for being patient! I’m so excited about this book. I can’t believe how much I’ve grown to love Brendan, and I sincerely hope you do too if you read his story.

I wanted to update now that I have a release date for Devon’s Gamble, the second book in the Wolves’ Heat series. The release date is a little later than I had hoped but August 15 is the date. If it becomes available anywhere before that, I’ll be sure to post an update. :)

I’m so excited that Devon’s story will finally be out!

I’m happy to announce that Devon’s Gamble has a tentative publication date of late July. Not sure of the exact date yet, but July seems likely. I’ll be updating again as soon as I have a firm date for when the book will be available.

Devon’s Gamble is the sequel to Ian’s Choice and will be the second book in the Wolves’ Heat series.

About the Wolves’ Heat series:

The third book in the New Canton Republic Trilogy is coming this month, Of Humans and Mates. I am very excited by Of Humans and Mates and I hope you find the story as entertaining as I found writing it. The book went a bit longer than the others in the series, coming in at almost twice the length of the first book, which I find amazing.

The story centers around Kyle, best friend of Raymond from Of Mating and Monsters and shocker, Cole. Yes, I said COLE. If you’ve read Raymond’s and Dominay’s book I have a feeling you know who that is. If not, don’t worry, I make it easy for you.

I hated to leave the world of my monsters but I had alien wolves demanding my attention, and Devon (from Ian’s Choice) wanted to tell me a story. It’ll be out as Devon’s Gamble. At some point after that there will be Brendan’s Fate, which I’ll admit now, I haven’t started writing yet. But the idea is there, and that book interests me a lot because Brendan interests me.

Anyway, that’s it for my short update. I can’t wait until Of Humans and Mates is officially released. I’ll update this post with the release date as soon as I can.

Update: June 6 is the expected available for sale date for Of Humans and Mates.
