Finally some news about the next book

Good news, I think. :)

I’m feeling pretty good about having Of Love and Zembores, the next New Canton Republic novel, ready by the end of the month. If not then, then shortly thereafter, but I’m going to stick my neck out here and say that it’ll be out by the end of the month. Maybe the last day of the month, but I think I’ll make it.

It’s not a promise, just a heads up, because I think we’re all a little happier if I don’t set a firm date and then miss it. :)

In other news, I’ve finally realized that I was possibly fighting a serious bit of depression this last year and that is why my publishing schedule between books has gotten so long. It’s funny how you often don’t recognize these things for what they are until you’re looking back on them.

I’m back writing on a regular basis now and I’m happy to say that I think I’ve finally put that behind me. I’m very hopeful that this means I’ll go back to a schedule more suited to getting out some of the many, many books I want to write. I’ll just have to see how it goes!

    Very excited to see your post. Canton Republic books are my favorite by far. Glad you are feeling better, and thanks for continuing to write – even when you might not feel like it.

      Thank you for commenting! Most people seem to love the Wolves’ Heat books best, so it’s lovely to hear that someone likes the New Canton books better. :D

    I was really starting to worry that something had happened to you! Been waiting for the next New Canton book, they’re my favorites though I love the Wolves also. Will Mason’s Regret be out in paperback soon?

      I’m here. I don’t update as often as I should but I always feel like there’s no point to it if I don’t have news about the books. I’ve really not had much of that to share with the writing going so slow! :)

      I do have plans to get the paperback out for Mason’s Regret as soon as I get Of Love and Zembores out. I expect it will be available somewhere by the end of October, and probably sooner. I’ll definitely post about it when it’s ready and post the links to the right pages. Thanks for asking! :)

    Yay! Thank you for the update! I don’t mind even if they are just to say that you are not writing. ;P Wolves’ Heat is my favorite but New Canton Republic is not far behind.

      It’s coming soon? ;-) Yeah, it’s not ready. I’m close but not there yet. I’ll post an update in a day or two, I’m just waiting on something before I do. Sorry it’s taking so long! :D

      I’m sorry I haven’t updated! I’ve been sick and had some delays of a personal nature that really threw things off. I’m going to post an update tomorrow, but as of right now, things are back on track and the plan is that Of Love and Zembores will be out next week.
