More Episodes of Mage in Love are Available!

Jihu and Gaeru are having an adventure in Mage in Love

I have an ongoing story published on Kindle Vella.

Episode 3: “Third parties”, Episode 4: “Sell out”, and Episode 5: “No such luck” are available now!

In Mage in Love, Jihu makes a bargain with crafty (but hot) Gaeru to escape death. One bad decision leads to another and, soon, Jihu has only himself to blame for the trouble that follows…

Available on Amazon’s Kindle Vella!

You can go read the first few chapters (episodes) for free on Kindle Vella. If you go read a chapter (the first three are free), and you like what you read, a thumbs up and a follow will let me know you liked it! :-)

In further news this weekend, I’ll be posting the cover for Of Relations and Ships in the next couple of days and expect to have the book up before the holidays set in. (And I haven’t told anyone yet, but there will be a tie-in with Mage in Love … eventually (it’s going to take some time)). :D But I have faith you’ll figure it all out eventually if you read Of Relations and Ships and Mage in Love both.

Just a little update

Alright. I’ve had to readjust everything about my plans for this year but I’m still here. Really!

This upcoming week, I’ll be working on getting the things I was working on before everything came to a standstill ready to go. I’m picking up where I left off and will be publishing stuff soon and working on stuff that I had planned to work on during the first half of the year.

In other words, writing has resumed and all is well. I just need some time to get stuff done.

I really wish I could snap my fingers and it’d all be done for me but that’s not how my life works, unfortunately. :-)

I will update the site ASAP when Of Relations and Ships and Never Enough are available. Liam’s Trust is a bit delayed but coming as soon as I can finish it. Give me a few weeks and I’ll post another update about that one.

Take care of yourself, wherever you are! :-)

Whew! The next New Canton book is just about ready

I’m working hard to get the next New Canton book ready for release (Of Relations and Ships). This week was the plan, and I think I might still make it by the end of the week or the weekend. I’ll let you know details as soon as I have things ready to go. I’m excited to finally get this one done and out. It took much longer to write than I expected (seriously, I started this one more than a year ago)! :-)

Two New R’H’ani Chronicles Stories Are Coming This Week

Two new R’H’ani Chronicles stories are coming later this week. They’re ready to go, and I just have to find the time to get them up and live.

One is a novelette like most of the rest and the other is a novella, a little bit longer than No Better Offer. If you want to know more about Neese, well that one is certainly going to give you that! The other is a story for Yestrille (from His to Keep and One to Tame), and oh, my, I totally love Yestrille even more than I loved him before, and I really loved Yestrille to begin with so there! He got a story and it’s one I happen to love so, so much!

After I get these up, it’s back to getting the novels I’ve been working on all summer ready.

I want to get Of Relations and Ships out in November, if at all possible, but I do still have some work to do on it.

Taken with Tony is getting really close and I totally think it’ll be a December book for me.

Liam’s Trust is still very much in progress, while I’ve got something new and possibly stand alone in the works too. :D That one’s untitled, so I’ve just been calling it Adam after one of the leads. :-) It’s a strange one, but as usual, it’s got romance and love and sex and a bit of a plot too. Okay, a massive plot, what the hell. It’s not like that’s going to surprise anyone. :D

I’d love to guarantee all of these will be out when I’d like them to be out, but it’s just not possible. My muse is fickle, fickle, fickle, and I have to do what I have to do to keep the stories flowing.

Anyway, back to work for me! I’m trying to get those R’H’ani stories out as soon as I can now that they’re ready. I’ll update with an announcement as soon as I do!

No Better Offer Is Now Available in Paperback!

The trade paperback edition of No Better Offer is now available! You can get it at Amazon, or find more links on the book page for No Better Offer. Check them out if you need a link to a different retailer.

No Better Offer Paperback Cover

No Better Offer (The R’H’ani Chronicles, Vol. 12)

Stenyl is miserable in his new job in the harem of a wealthy R’H’ani bureaucrat, but it was the best he could get after being fired from his last for breaking the rules. When he gets a better offer, he knows he should accept. Only the better offer might not be the one he wants…

Spencyr is the reason Stenyl was fired without cause and forced to take a job he hates—so why does his heart still beat faster every time the gray man gets near?

Then there’s Neese, Stenyl’s handsome co-worker who claims not only not to be gay but to have never performed with another man, and who has made Stenyl an outcast in the harem. Neese is a liar, and Stenyl means to prove it.

If only Spencyr were a little more forthcoming about his own desires, and Neese wasn’t so infuriating—and so pretty…

The book is a 5 x 8 inch paperback and 130 pages.

The other volumes will be coming to paperback soon, even though I freely admit they’re a little thin in paperback, but they’re really nice to hold and flip through! :D The first in the series has actually been in paperback for a long time, but wait to pick it up if you want the collection! The new edition will have the most recent cover and match the rest of the books when they’re done. :)

If you like thicker paperbacks, you can pick up the first six stories in the series in the paperback edition of The R’H’ani Chronicles Collection: Volumes 1–6. It is definitely not thin at 279 pages. :D

Will’s Hope Is Now Available in Paperback!

The trade paperback edition of Will’s Hope is now available at Amazon! (More links are available on the Will’s Hope book page. Check them out if you need a link to a different retailer.)

The book is a 5 x 8 inch trade paperback and 496 pages. It’s a monster. ;-)

At this moment in time, I’m really wishing I hadn’t imagined all my books would be about the same length as Ian’s Choice and set them up to publish as 5 x 8 paperbacks. If the books keep going long, I might have to republish in a larger book format, like a 5.5 x 8.5 or a 9 x 6.

If you’re a paperback purchaser, would it disappoint you to have the newer books in a different size?

Anyway, let me know in the comments if you care one way or the other. It’ll make it a little easier for me to decide what I’m going to do with longer books in the future. :D

Upcoming Books and Other News

Some of this post is from my last email notification (the one for Will’s Hope) about upcoming books, expanded for the blog here.

In case you missed it, a while ago I released Of Love and Zembores, the sixth New Canton Republic book, and Gay for Alex, a contemporary story and the first of the Love Is series that’ll continue with Taken With Tony, which I have been working on.

Currently, I’m working hardest on Of Relations and Ships, the next New Canton Republic book! I’m loving it, and I can’t wait to share it! I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say this is Blane’s story and he is so, so much fun. (Blane is Carlton’s younger brother from Of Mates and Barters.)

I haven’t forgotten about The King’s Deception, but it’s taking a while. It’s got mystery and humor and lots of fun, hot sex, and if you haven’t tried the Hend & Yurt series, The King’s Gambit is a favorite of mine. :D A little intrigue, lots of romance, fun characters, and magic! It’s also a full novel. Don’t let Leon’s marriage of convenience with Ithera scare you off this series! This is a lighthearted romance fantasy series and the “King” books are Leon’s and Geran’s story.

There will be other books for other pairings in this series, for sure. The King’s Deception is going to be followed by The Mage’s Mark which is a story for Prince Yohan. I won’t spoil it by saying anything else but I am desperate to write this book! I just wish I had more time. There’s never enough. :-)

One to Tame is just about ready and that leaves only one more novelette in the R’H’ani Chronicles before the second R’H’ani Chronicles collection comes out. I don’t know if anyone’s waiting for that, but I have plans to offer a coupon for a big discount on the first collection at Smashwords when I release One to Tame.

I’m happy to say I’ve been writing a lot lately and feeling the love for all my characters and stories again after a rough patch or three the last couple of years. Expect releases to pick up a bit as I finally get some of these stories I’ve been working on for what feels like forever completed. :D (Fingers crossed!)

I don’t mind questions or comments about how I’m progressing on any particular project. I do still work on more than one book at a time in almost all cases. :-)

What’s coming next, in no particular order:

The King’s Deception
Of Relations and Ships
Taken with Tony
One to Tame
The Mage’s Mark
Werewolf at the Gate & Bet on Marriage (these are for my Lynne Sterley pen name, and there’s an active coupon for the first two books in that series at 50% off on Smashwords that expires June 30)

I have two different stories begging me to tell them as the next Wolves’ Heat book, but I’m giving myself a little time on that decision. Will’s Hope was a bit of an epic for me and I definitely want to finish a couple of other things before I dig into those.

A few other projects are in the works, too, but all I have are tentative working titles and sometimes things don’t come together so I’ll just skip mentioning anything else right now. If they develop further, they’ll get mentioned eventually.

Will’s Hope Is Published!

Book 9 in the Wolves’ Heat series is available now!

Will's Hope bookcover

Just waiting on the book to go live in all the usual places. Since I need some sleep, I’ll update with links after I do that if they’re available. :) (Best place for the links is the Will’s Hope book page.)

Amazon | Apple | Barnes & Noble | Google Play | Kobo | Smashwords | Amazon.co.uk | Amazon.ca | Amazon.com.au

Description is on the Will’s Hope page and I’ll update here when I have the chance tomorrow (today).

Thanks for your patience with me and my release day issues!

Everything in the world happened to delay me today and I finally, finally got the book up at like 1am at Amazon. Which is technically the next day. But since it’s 4 am now and I haven’t gone to bed yet, it still feels like yesterday to me.

So. I have officially learned my lesson. No more release dates for me. (That is a promise!) (Oops. I didn’t realize this sounded so sinister. All I meant is I’m going to be way more careful not to mention possible publish dates in the future so I don’t disappoint anyone if things aren’t done in time. That’s what I get for writing this at 4 in the morning.) :-)

On that note, I think this could be a great way to help make sure I don’t burn out. Eliminate the stress points (because oh my god, deadlines stress me the hell out) so I can enjoy the rest of it more. :)

If there are any problems with the book going live, I’m sorry to say that it’ll be a while before I can deal with it, because I really, really think I should try to go to sleep before daybreak. Once daybreak hits, there’ll be no way I’ll get any sleep at all. I’ll update this post when I have links or news or something. (I admit, the book seems like it’s taking longer than I remember the last taking to go live so… yeah. Worried!)

Official Release Date for Will’s Hope is May 13 (*Updated*)

Updated!! I had to move the release date for Will’s Hope to after the weekend instead of before, but there shouldn’t be any further delays. That makes the updated official release date Monday, May 13, 2019.

I’m sorry for the delay, but I hope the wait is worth it!

Will’s Hope is the next book in the Wolves’ Heat series. I really hope you like Will’s story as much as I do! :-)

This is my longest book ever. (So for those of you who like my longer books, this one’s for you. Everyone else, I’m sorry?) I think it’s worth it though because Will’s story is awesome if I say so myself. :D I hope you’re not expecting me to be objective about it, because I never am. I love all these guys!
