  • Jihu – Smuggler? He’s up to something, no doubt! Whatever it is, he seems to be in over his head.
  • Gaeru – Big title and big trouble. What’s he planning? And why is he dragging Jihu into it?
  • Baeo – Jihu’s friend? Definitely not his boyfriend. Definitely more trouble than he’s worth!
  • Daehu – Sex worker who wants to be anywhere but where he is… Is he hiding something?
  • Taeom – Association Militia? Watch your back, Jihu!

Chapters, episodes, it’s all the same to me. :D I try to be clear that I’m using the terms interchangeably for this story but just in case, an episode is a chapter and a chapter is an episode. :)

Cam and Rick Play Dirty (a.k.a. Bel and Reed’s Long Night) Is a New Wolves’ Heat Short Story!

This story, I don’t even know where to start. Cam and Rick Play Dirty (a.k.a. Bel and Reed’s Long Night) was supposed to be “Claw” in the After the Heat collection. Then I realized “Prick” was a much better title, so I wrote a different story that ended up being “Claw”, and I’m glad I did, because I really like what I ended up with.

But then this one went longer than I had planned for it to be, by a LOT. It became a story that’s commensurate in length with Devon and Kem Under the Mistletoe (a.k.a. Ian and Craig’s First Fight). It also felt like a different kind of story than those that are in the After the Heat collection, so there was that.

But making it a volume of the Wolves’ Heat Stories meant I needed a new title, because “Prick” is the title that most suits the fourth story in the After the Heat collection! Which also means I needed a new story to go with that title!

Whew.

All that to say, I settled on a title for this one, and I’ve added a cover, and it’s going up this week as an individually published short story in the Wolves’ Heat universe.

“Prick” will also be coming soon to the After the Heat: Wolves’ Heat Stories collection. It’s not the story it was, but it’s the story it was meant to be! :)

A Few More Weeks for the Next Book

I need a few more weeks for Taken with Tony. Some good news is that the temperature has been lower for the last few days and the inside of the house isn’t sweltering anymore. :)

I just put out the second R’H’ani Chronicles collection, which took more time than I expected, too. These stories are pure romance, but the setting is such that there is definitely a LOT of sex happening.

Most of the distributors want me to put them in erotica, but in my mind, that doesn’t fit at all! I guess I’m deluding myself. I feel like the stories are one-hundred percent focused on the romance, but if I don’t label them erotica, the distributors get mad at me! ;D

Have you read the R’H’ani stories? What do you think? Pure romance, or erotica is a fine label for them and just accept it?

Little August Update

I’m not making a promise, but I expect I’ll be putting up a couple of episodes for Mage in Love tomorrow. :-)

I feel like this one has been a bit of a slow build. I really expected the story to go differently than it has, so if you’re surprised by how it’s gone so far, you can join me in that. :D

I also had plans for Taken with Tony last month that didn’t pan out. So I’m hoping/expecting to wrap things up with it this month instead.

The house is hot (the AC isn’t working well) and my writing is suffering in the humid air. Who wants to sit at the computer when it’s 83 degrees inside and at 65% humidity? NOT ME. This summer cannot end fast enough for me. I live in the mountains for god’s sake. You’d think it would be cooler. But it’s the damn humidity that’s killing me. Not the temperature. :o

Guess I’ll end this little update here. I believe I’ll have several more releases this year, if the weather, my damn house (falling down around me LOL), and my health holds out through the end of the year. Wish me luck! :D

Taken with Tony for August (Updated)

This year, I’m trying to update a bit more often so everyone knows where I am on the stories. :) I am not great with estimating the time it will take to finish things, but I’m feeling pretty good about my progress on Taken with Tony at the moment. This is the follow-up to Gay for Alex, and it is Tony’s story (no surprise there). :D

Updated the estimated release date to August July 2023. I’m pretty confident now that I will be releasing it soon. :)
